This is a really thoughtful and powerful piece about language and its effect. You are calling attention to the damage of that objectifying viral video but even more powerfully how we talk about men — and how men talk about themselves -- and how that perpetuates the bad behavior. Every time we use our words to reinforce damaging narratives about ourselves and/or others, we perpetuate the damage. Thank you for this great piece.
