Jews were chattel slaves in Egypt and sold in Europe to/by the Romans in what is now Italy. It was legal in Saudia Arabia until recently and still exists in some parts of Africa. Of course, with human trafficking it still exists all over the world. That said, that influencer made a pointless and ridiculous statement. It's akin to "all lives matter." None of that is the actual POINT, which is that we need to address the racism in THIS country due to the history of slavery, which is unique and still a part of the very fabric of all of our lives.
