I wrote a long response to your other article but it disappeared so I gave up. I was frustrated reading the comments from people because it seemed to me most of them really were confused between compassion and accountability. We can have compassion for why people make poor choices but we still have to hold them accountable. Compassion removes judgment, accountability is necessary for change.
