I think your last paragraph was the most important one. People like him, Trump, Taylor Green, Gaetz, and Boebert actually do represent large portions of our country. Similarly, radical ideologues on the "left." So I believe the issue is not about a singular person, it is about us as a nation. About our education (and lack thereof), our maturity, and our consciousness. People like him are simply a very powerful indication of who we are as a people.
