Excellent article, well done. We do have freedom of speech, of course. Fox News can say whatever they want and not go to prison for it. But we don’t need to support it financially. People often fail to see the difference and complain that their freedom of speech is violated in these circumstances. But again, they can say what they want — they have that right — just as everyone else has the right not to fund it and not to promote it.

Divisiveness and hate is not healing or constructive. We should not fund it. Especially organizations which employ so many POC.

Unfortunately, the way capitalism seems to work is that most companies will just do what makes them more money, vs doing the right thing. So I am skeptical the NFL will pull their money unless enough of their fanbase threatens to boycott. But I applaud the NAACP (and you) for calling it out.
